Trip to Ballinglen

We went to Ballinglen art centre on a trip.

First the whole school got a bus to Ballycastle. The junior room went to Ceide

Fields first and then senior room went to Ballyglen art centre.

We met a Nuala who worked there and she gave us a tour of the centre and showed some of the artworks. There was a display in the centre that was picked by Ballycastle national school. Then she brought us into a room where she works and showed us some if the lovely artwork that will be send away. Afterwards we got to paint a picture and bring them back to school.

We learned that a curator plans and organise art in galleries and exhibitions. We would love to go back again.
