Trip to Oweninny Wind Farm

Today we had an informative and entertaining trip to Oweninny Wind Farm. It is a new wind farm that is not too far from the school. We travelled by bus to the Wind Farm and then we were giving a great lesson on electricity, forces and renewable energy by Michelle Maher. Then we got to try out lots of different ways of converting wind and solar energy into electricity. After this, Richard showed us around the new visitor centre. It was great fun and we hope to go back and visit again some day.
