Last Thursday we were at the famine exhibition in Ballina. We went in and we were invited to watch a fifteen minute movie all about the famine. After that we had went around the room answering questions on a sheet that Mr. McGregor gave us. We learned how many people died of starvation. There was a bell that you would ring when the soup was ready for the starving people. There was a goat cart. We got to see little huts that people lived in. The guide was very helpful, we learned a lot.
