In October a lady called Eamhair came to school to tell us about the Team Hope Christmas Shoe box appeal. We learned that some poor people have no homes and maybe no parents. At Christmas they would not be getting any presents. Team Hope give each poor child a shoe box with toys and other useful things.
We put together shoe boxes for poor people in Eastern Europe and Africa. We put in things like sweets, dolls, teddies, toothbrushes, toothpaste, paper, gloves and hats.
I enjoyed putting my shoe box together because it made me feel happy.
